Abby joined Bayside Dance in 2018 while in Year 10 and quickly fell in love with contemporary dance. After watching the end-of-year concert, she was inspired to take up hip hop as well—and hasn’t looked back since.
In 2019, she completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has continued working in babysitting and disability support, roles she finds deeply rewarding. Her passion for working with children led her to pursue a double degree in Secondary Education and Fine Arts (Film & TV) at QUT, with the goal of becoming a high school teacher in English, media, dance, and drama.
Abby’s favourite dance styles are hip hop and contemporary, and she’s thrilled to be teaching both this year. She’s passionate about helping students grow in confidence, keep learning, and have fun through dance. Abby loves being part of the Bayside Dance team and looks forward to inspiring her students each week.
